Military Batteries

Hello Military Batteries Community Members,

We are pleased to welcome you to our new online community and look forward to continuing conversations around the technologies, challenges, and opportunities shaping batteries and energy storage for military and defense applications.

Our regularly scheduled community meetings provide a forum for timely discussions, industry perspectives, and the exchange of technical knowledge. We welcome input from all community members on topics you would like to see addressed. If you have an idea for a speaker, a subject for discussion, or would like to present at an upcoming meeting, please reach out to our community co-chairs or share your suggestion here.

Topics may include battery performance and safety, advanced chemistries, ruggedization, power and energy requirements, supply chain resilience, domestic manufacturing, emerging technologies, testing and qualification, and other issues important to meeting the evolving energy storage needs of the defense sector.

We also encourage you to introduce yourself below. Tell us who you are, your organization, and the areas of military battery technology that are of greatest interest to you. This platform provides an opportunity to continue the conversation between meetings, exchange ideas, ask questions, and connect with others working across the military battery ecosystem.

We look forward to the discussions ahead and to bringing together members of industry, government, research, and the broader battery sector to advance solutions for military energy storage needs.
