Electrode Materials

The Electrode Materials Committee convened on January 21, 2026, with co-chairs Katharina Gerber, Dana Swan, and Jerzy Gazda leading the meeting attended by 19 participants. The session began with welcoming remarks and a reminder of the NAATBatt anti-trust compliance policy. The co-chairs reviewed the previous year's activities, highlighting a 45% growth in new registrations and the importance of gathering feedback on suggested topics for 2026. They also discussed plans for an in-person meeting at the upcoming NAATBatt Conference, encouraging members to volunteer for presentations and suggest topics related to anode materials and emerging applications like data centers. %0a Action items were outlined, including sending out a committee poll to gather input on topics for 2026, with a deadline for completion set for January 30th. The results will be shared at the next in-person meeting on February 10th. Members were also encouraged to propose ideas for special projects that could be funded by the committee budget.
